Jacob’s first Halloween happened to be the day before all this shunt business. So, let’s go back in time a bit…
to our neighborhood baby Halloween party!
Then our ward had a campout on the Friday night of Halloween weekend:
We drove to Mt. Lemmon together with our cute friends:
Jacob’s friend Ethan was at the campout too:
Can you tell which one is Jacob? We didn’t stay the night at the campout. I did make Chipotle Chocolate Chile for the cook-off though…it was yummy!
The next day was was the Trunk-or-Treat:
I tried to copy Jacob’s monkey costume, but it ended up looking more like a kangaroo. There were a ton of kids there and we brought some backup candy just in case…which we had to dig into at the end. We were trying to reserve some of the candy for the next day, for our neighborhood trick-or-treaters. We didn’t hide our reserve bowl good enough though, because some random 7 year old asked if he could have the rest of our candy, then tried to steal it when we said no! Weird. And Hilarious.
I carved the “Boo! Ghost” and Jacob’s pumpkin (a little monster guy).
Lance carved the fiery face below.
Scary!
Cute!
Thank you Tam-o-ram for the cutest monkey costume ever! Jacob looked adorable. As you can clearly see.
